This fall, we started an arts and sciences "club" at our home called The Cub Club for K-1 kids. We meet twice a month for a few hours of crafts, fine arts and sciences. The kids are loving it, learning everything from laws of motion to biology to soluability. The time flies by and the kids are becoming great friends!
Last Thursday, I headed over to Purcellville for another school-ager workshop, where we had fun with cartooning, stenciling, fingerpaint and thumbprint art. These kids are great and we certainly made a mess, er, I mean, art!

I had the pleasure of running an afternoon snack workshop for elementary schoolers at the Purcellville Library last month, which we combined with a discussion of the Lemony Snickett Series of Unfortunate Events book series. We made creepy and goofy snacks while discussing our favorite books!
